ABOUT US

What We Do

Paint, sing, read, play, ride bikes, dress up, cuddle, use play dough, blow bubbles, eat snacks provided by the helping parent, have gathering time, play in sand, water and other interesting tactile materials, do art/craft projects, get messy, build with blocks, climb on safe equipment, just to name a few things! Mostly, we just have fun and learn to play together!

Enrollment

Priority for enrollment is given to the following:
  1. Incumbents/siblings of incumbents
  2. Siblings of alumni
  3. New families

Children are generally grouped by age; however, the age ranges of the groups may vary or even overlap according to enrollment. Enrollment is conducted on a lottery basis. We take all applications that have been received by the deadline date and choose one at a time, placing the child in the appropriate class. Final class placement is determined by the teaching staff, with consideration of each child's needs.

Tuition

Tuition may be paid annually, biannually or quarterly. Tuition for the 2008/09 school year is:

  • $1,255 for the 2-day class
  • $1,850 for the 3-day class

Scholarship money is available to help families who qualify for financial assistance. Please contact a Board Member or the TMO Director for further information.

How Are The Classes Structured?

We offer four separate classes (two in each room):

  • The Blue Door Class is open to children who are 24 months of age by September 30, 2008, but do not turn 3 before July 1, 2008. There is a 3-day program on M/W/F with hours from 8:30 - 11:00 am and a 2-day program on T/TH with hours from 8:45 - 11:15 am.  The staff is comprised of the teacher, an assistant and a rotating parent helper.
  • The Red Door M/W/F Class is open to children who are 24 months of age by September 30, 2008, but do not turn 3 before July 1, 2008 and meets from 8:45 - 11:15 a.m. The Red Door T/TH Class is open to children who are at least 16 months of age by September 30, 2008, and meets from 8:30 - 11:00 a.m. The staff is comprised of the teacher, an assistant and a rotating parent helper.
  • We also offer a Lunch Bunch program for an additional fee for a limited number of children in both Blue Door classes and in the Red Door M/W/F class. Children bring their own lunches. This program runs for one hour immediately following class Monday through Thursday and is staffed by the lead teacher in each room.
